The Africa Bitcoin conference 3rd edition coming to Kenya is clearly a plan of the universe, of God. This wouldn’t have been perfect any other time, last year or any other year, it’s this year. Previously as a Bitcoiner if you visited a new country you had to buy fiat with your BTC for your expenses where Bitcoin is not acceptable, but this time it’s different. You either spend Bitcoin as it is in the many and remarkably growing circular economy or you spend Bitcoin wherever Mpesa, the famous Kenyan mobile banking is acceptable using Tando. Tando allows you to spend Satoshis for as low as ksh 30/- to 50k anywhere there’s Mpesa by way of sending, paybill, or even buy goods till. As a guest you clearly have no business with the Kenyan fiat at all. Exciting right? Few years ago, no one would have thought this would happen soon. This only goes to say, the future is nearer each day that passes with so many development on the Bitcoin protocol and new inventions and new communities. Satoshi must be proud.
