Gratitude! Sometimes I find myself mentioning gratitude in my small talks with people. And it’s not until this week I felt like digging deep in to this gratitude I keep mentioning. I decided to explore the feeling deeper. So what is gratitude? Its an emotion so powerful that it can the impact the mental, physical, emotional and social well being. Mentally like reducing stress, depression and anxiety by shifting our focus from the negative to positive.
Physically by lowering blood pressure risk, enhancing the quality of your sleep hence a stronger immune system.
Socially by strengthening our social relationships when we acknowledge the efforts and contributions of others. Inspiring others too.
Selfcare, gratitude will bring out the mindfulness in meditation to be able to focus on the present and cultivate a more positive outlook on life, hence living a more fulfilling life.
So yes, gratitude is everything.
